About the Program:

Many of our community’s youth rely on the free/reduced price meal system to meet their food needs during the school year; when school is not in session, it can be difficult for students to get enough to eat.

The Winter and Spring Pantry Program assists in meeting the food needs for low-income elementary school students in the Mount Baker School District over Winter and Spring breaks.

Students who participate in the Winter and Spring Pantry Program are provided with a supply of kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare snacks and meals to reduce the burden on families who may already be struggling to make ends meet.

Students are identified by Mount Baker School District Staff, and food is supplied by the Foothills Food Bank. For more information, or to get your child involved in this program, please contact your school’s Family Resource Coordinator.
